When you upload a novated lease quote, we analyse it to calculate the effective interest rate. We do not keep the quote document itself — we store only what’s needed to score it and compare providers: the provider, the vehicle, the finance figures used in the calculation (payment, residual value, lease term) and the resulting effective rate and verdict. We do not store your name, salary, or other personal details from the quote. We also store any conversation you have with the AI adviser about that quote.
Before any quote is analysed, you must tick a consent box stating: “I consent to Novated Compare analysing my quote to work out its effective interest rate, and to storing that rate against the provider to improve our comparisons. We don’t keep the quote document, your name, your salary, or other personal details.” We do not analyse a quote without this consent being given.
We never require your name, email or phone number to upload a quote, see your results, or ask the AI adviser questions. We do not collect your name, email or phone number at all.
Quote data (the calculated effective rate, provider names, vehicle types) is used in aggregate to improve our provider benchmarks and the accuracy of our calculations. We don’t hold your name, email, salary or other personal details, so this benchmarking data contains nothing that identifies you.
The data we keep (the provider, the calculated rate, and the finance figures used to derive it) is stored using Supabase (hosted in Australia where available), with access restricted to our own systems. We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not share it with providers.
You can request deletion of your uploaded quote and associated data at any time. Contact us through the adviser chat and ask for your data to be removed.
